Behavioral Health

We're here for you when you need us

If you or a loved one is suffering from a life challenge or crisis — whether it's a relationship issue, learning disability, chemical dependency or mental illness — you're not alone. Tens of millions of Americans encounter these situations, although not all seek treatment for them.

We're here to help.

In SMDC Medical Center's Behavioral Health Department, we understand that the world is a complicated place and that sometimes it's a challenge to cope with the

stresses of life.

The Miller-Dwan Foundation is raising money to build Turning Point, a community mental health wellness center for children, adolescents and their families. Learn more.

We are the largest mental health services provider north of the Twin Cities, serving more than 10,000 patients and their families every year. We offer both inpatient services and outpatient therapy and psychiatric services.

Our physicians, therapists and clinical staff are a compassionate team of professionals dedicated to helping you and your support system improve your emotional well-being, whether you need short-term care or ongoing support. We've provided these confidential services for more than 30 years.
