Pre-Op Phone Call

To make your experience at SMDC Medical Center as comfortable and convenient as possible, a Registered Nurse will call you one or two days before your scheduled procedure. The call will take about 10 minutes.

Please be prepared to share this information:

• A review of your medical, surgical and anesthesia history
• Your current medical conditions
• Medicines you take
• If you are allergic to any medicines
• What transportation plans you have made to and from SMDC Medical Center
• Who will help you at home after your procedures
• What questions and concerns you may have
