Occupational Therapy
If you need occupational therapy, SMDC Health System has a therapist to work with you. We have more than 35 credentialed occupational therapists working in our hospitals and outpatient clinics across the Northland. We also have many specialists – therapists with extensive training to address specific problems, diagnoses and areas of the body.
Your doctor will refer you to occupational therapy and match you with the right therapist to help you recover after an accident, illness or recent diagnosis. |

Occupational therapy helps you do the tasks you need to take of yourself, such as dressing, using the bathroom, bathing, cooking and managing money. Your therapist will help you build your strength and increase your range of motion, vision, memory and sense of touch.
