Financial support derived from the Gift Shop and special fundraising events provides scholarships to local high school graduates pursuing education in the health care field. The Auxiliary also makes annual major contributions to SMDC Medical Center departments for equipment and services through an application grant process.

Volunteers serve the hospital in many ways by extending service to patients. For more information about the Volunteer Program, Auxiliary or services they provide, please call the Volunteer Office at ext.64596 from 8-11:30 a.m. Monday through Friday.
